Praise be to Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our own selves and from our evil deeds. O you who believe! Fear Allah and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for tomorrow, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what you do. Surah Al Hashr 59:18Dear sister in Islam, Read the above words of Allah and ponder over it. What have we prepared for tomorrow? What have we prepared for the inevitable i.e. death which can come to us at any time and place? We Muslim women fast and pray, seeking to enter paradise but neglect many teachings of Islam, thereby earning the displeasure of Allah azzawajal. Dear sister, if someone gifted you a diamond necklace would you wear it when you go to the market place? No. Because you fear that you will be harmed by people who see it and harm you for it. Then why sister do you display your beauty which Your creator has gifted you with? Your beauty is only for those who have the privilege to see it. Allah says, And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent and to draw their veils all over Juyubihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms, etc.) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, their brothers or their brother's sons, or their sister's sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam)….24:31Any person besides those mentioned above are your non mahram before whom you should observe hijab. Yes, it also includes your cousins, your sister’s husband and your husband’s brothers. Beware of ignoring hijab in front of your husbands relatives. Narrated Uqbah ibn Aamir that the Prophet peace be upon him said,” Beware of entering upon women.” A man from the ansar said,’O Messenger of Allah, what about the in-law?’ He replied,’ The in-law is death.’
But what is hijab? Is it to cover your hair with a shawl that keeps falling from it while wearing tight clothes and make up? Or to wear a sari with a mafta on your head for namesake while revealing your body shape? Or is it wearing a parda with the shawl around your shoulders hence showing your hair and neck? Dear sister, do not make a mockery out of your hijab. Your whole body except your face and hands are your awrah to be covered. Cover does not mean wearing tight long sleeved and full length clothes which show of the shape of your body. Protect yourself and your family from a fire that is 70 times hotter than the fire of this earth. Dear mother, can you bear the thought of your daughter burning in fire? Your daughter whom Allah has blessed you with? Dear sister, do not let your youth stop you from disobeying Allah. Why do you wait tell you are old and shriveled and no one will give a second glance at you? Why do you wait for old age when you see persons younger than you dying around you? Narrated by abu Hurairah that the Prophet peace be upon him said,”There are two types of the people of Hell……….and women who are clothed but naked, walking with an enticing gait with something like the humps of camels on their heads. They will not enter paradise nor even smell its fragrance.” Dear sister, fear Allah. And Allah says,” And let those who oppose the Messenger’s commandments, beware, lest some fitnah should befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them.”24:63

All the virtues of Soorah Yaa – Seen are either based on Weak or Fabricated Ahadeeth. The following are few of the (many) commonly quoted ‘Virtues’ and their authentication done by Scholars of Ahadeeth.
Hadeeth One
Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said, “Indeed for everything there is a heart, and the Qur’aan’s hearet is Yaa – Seen. Whoever recites Yaa – Seen, then for its recitation, Allaah writes for him that he recited the Qur’aan ten times.”
Jaami’ at – Tirmithee, Volume 5, Book 42, Hadeeth Number 2,887, p. 225. Imaam Tirmithee said, “Haaroon Aboo Muhammad (one of the narrators) is a sheikh who is Majhool (unknown).” Haafiz Aboo Taahir Zubayr ‘Alee Za’i classed its Isnaad (chain) as Da’eef (weak). Classed as Mawdoo’ (fabricated) by Sheikh al – Albaanee in As - Silsilah al – Ahaadeeth ad-Da’eefah, Number 169 and Da’eef Taghreeb was Tarheeb, Number 885
Hadeeth Two
Narrated Aboo Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him): that the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said: “Allaah recited Ta-Ha and Ya-Seen one thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth. When the angels heard the Qur’aan they said, ‘Glad tidings to the nation to whom this will be revealed, and glad tidings to the hearts that will bear this, and glad tidings to the tongues that will speak these words.’”
Narrated by al – Daarimee, Number 3,280. Sheikh al – Albaanee said, in As - Silsilah al – Ahaadeeth ad-Da’eefah, Number 1,248, “[it is] Munkar (Denounced) [a form of Da’eef or weak Hadeeth].”
Hadeeth Three
Narrated Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him): the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever enters the graveyard and recites Soorat Yaa – Seen, (the torment) will be reduced for them that day, and he will have hasanaat equivalent to the number of people in the graveyard.”
Narrated by al – Tha’labi in his Tafseer (3/161/2). Sheikh al – Albaanee said, in Silsilah Ahadeeth Ad-Da’eefah, Number 1,246, “It is Mawdoo’ (fabricated).”
Hadeeth Four
It was narrated from Ma’qil bin Yasaar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said, “Recite Qur’aan near your dying ones,” meaning Yaa – Seen.
Sunan Ibn Maajah, Volume 2, Book 6, Hadeeth Number 1,448, p. 369. Haafiz Aboo Taahir Zubayr ‘Alee Za’i states that Aboo ‘Uthmaan (one of the narrators) is Majhool (unknown) and classed the Hadeeth as Da’eef (weak).
In a slightly different wording: It was narrated from Ma’qil bin Yasaar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace be upon him) said, “Recite Yaa – Seen for your dying ones.”
Sunan Aboo Daawood, Volume 3, Book 20, Hadeeth Number 3,121, p. 568. Haafiz Aboo Taahir Zubayr ‘Alee Za’i states that Aboo ‘Uthmaan (one of the narrators) is Majhool (unknown) and classed the Hadeeth as Da’eef (weak). He comments, “…The narrations concerning the recitation of Soorah Yaa – Seen are not authentic. We should instead supplicate to Allaah to grant the deceased ease.”
Hadeeth Five
Narrated ‘Ataa ibn Abee Rabah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that Allaah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, “If anyone recites Yaa – Seen at the beginning of the day, his needs will be fulfilled.”
Narrated by al – Daarimee, Number 3,281. Classed as Da’eef (weak), by Sheikh al – Albaanee, in Mishkaat al – Masaabih, Number 2,118.
Hadeeth Six
[It is claimed] the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Yaa – Seen is for that for which it is read.” meaning that reading Soorat Ya – Seen may cause needs to be met and may make things easier, according to the intention of the reader when he reads it.
Al – Sakhaawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said of this hadeeth: “There is no basis for this version.” Al-Maqaasid al-Hasanah, Number 741. Al-Qadi Zakariya said in Haashiyat al-Baydaawi: “It is Mawdoo’ (fabricated),” as it says in Kashf al-Khafa’ (2/2215).
In conclusion, there is no doubt that Soorah Yaa – Seen is a beautiful Soorah. However, to attribute such erroneous claims to it is wrong and dangerous.
And Allaah knows best

Salam, me too agree with nishan's comment on kerala islahi. We do agree, but we need the solution. Wat we can do? A lot scholors in kerala don't know about this discussion forum and islahi portal. If leaders of KNM,ISM,MSM and MGM make sure about it and make it as an agenda in their state distric meetings and counciling. If the member of this forum face any language problem, they can post their replies and posts by their on languages. May admin and other member can convert into english or sum other words.
